About Us
Established in 2013, Youth Global Network is a registered non-profit organisation in Hong Kong. Converging and networking different resources globally and locally, we expand the horizon of youth with global perspectives. Through education, vocational training and mentoring, young people can gain professional skills and develop a stronger sense of identity and purpose to serve the local society.
Year 2013
- Jun 2013 – Founded as a non-profit-making charitable organisation in HK
Year 2015
- May 2015 – Established Kam Tin Glocal Cultural Hub
Year 2016
- Apr 2016 – Commenced a new 18 months EYGD youth training project to visit Cambodia, Macau, India and Ghana in Africa
- May 2016 – Established Kam Tin Glocal Youth Hub
- Jun 2016 – The “pay-it-forward” community café at Kam Tin Youth Hub started serving the community and young people of Kam Tin
- Jul 2016 – Commenced Project C: Creative Coding for Change
Year 2017
- Jan 2017 – Alternative Coffee Lab at Kam Tin Youth Hub began barista training
- Sep 2017 – Our new Cultural Hub is located in the reconstructed Kam Tin Youth Centre
- Oct 2017 – Alternative Café opened on G/F of Breakthrough Centre, Jordan
- Dec 2017 – Established the “Coffee and Life Ministry Fund”, providing funds to support coffee and life ministry
- Dec 2017 – Endowment for Youth Global Development Youth training project “Project Just-Comp” was launched
Year 2019
- May 2019 – The first supported restaurant by “Coffee and Life Ministry Fund” – “Manna” in the Kwun Tong Swatow Baptist Church Building was officially opened
- Aug 2019 – Established youCodia Academy
- Sep 2019 – Commenced “Coding for Community Project” with Centre for Information Technology In Education, The University of Hong Kong
- Nov 2019 – The second supported café by “Coffee and Life Ministry Fund” – “Well Hub” in Bangkok, Thailand was officially opene
Year 2020
- Jun 2020 – Sponsored by Innovation and Technology Bureau, Innovation and Technology Fund for Better Living to develop youCodia platform
- Oct 2020 – The Chinese name of Youth Global Network was changed
Year 2021
- Jul 2021 – Youth Global Network was relocated to 14/F, Breakthrough Centre

Policy and Guidelines
Youth Global Network (“YGN”), as an organisation serving young people, establishing missions and contributing to society, is committed to ensuring that all employees, volunteers, participants, and service users can work and use its services in a caring, protected, respected, and safe environment.
In accordance with the four discrimination Ordinances (Sex Discrimination Ordinance, Disability Discrimination Ordinance, Family Status Discrimination Ordinance, and Race Discrimination Ordinance) and the handling and prevention of sexual harassment under the Sex Discrimination Ordinance in Hong Kong, YGN has updated and developed the following policy and guidelines:

The guidelines apply to all employees, freelancers, outsourced employees and volunteers of YGN.

Tender for the Maintenance of the Authoring Tool System for Youth Global Network (Ref: ATS-MAINTENANCE)
Tender submission guidelines:
1. Your Tender should be completed in two proposals, namely “Technical Proposal of the Maintenance of the Authoring Tool System” and “Fee Proposal of the Maintenance of Authoring Tool System” which should be:
(a) submitted not later than 12:00 noon on 30 November 2021 (Local Time), via email to tender@ygn.org.hk.
(b) Both Technical and Fee Proposals should be in pdf format and protected by a password.
(c ) The password should be sent in a separate email not later than 5:00pm on 30 November, 2021, to tender@ygn.org.hk. (Please mark clearly in the email with your company’s name.)
2. Late Tenders will not be considered.
3. The Tender submission should include:
(a) Schedule A – Tender Submission Form completed and signed
(b) Copy of valid business certificate / license (such as BR)
(c) Schedule B – Technical Proposal
(d) Schedule C – Fee Proposal
(e) Schedule D – Confirmation Letter for Compliance with Anti-Collusion Clauses in Tender completed and signed
